A young cyclist suffered injuries following a collision with an e-bike in Pasay City, as reported by Unang Balita on Monday. The incident left 15-year-old Gab Isidro with wounds to his elbow and knee after being struck by an e-bike carrying two Chinese nationals.
Authorities provided first aid to Isidro, while the e-bike was subsequently apprehended. Through the use of a cellphone translator, the teenager expressed his decision not to file a complaint against the two Chinese individuals and declined their offer of compensation.
The two Chinese nationals involved in the incident have not issued any statements, reportedly due to their inability to speak either Tagalog or English.
