Four Chinese nationals were arrested after authorities seized over P75 million worth of counterfeit Crocs footwear in three warehouses in Meycauayan, Bulacan, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) reported.
The suspects, identified as Weibin, Zhenpan, Youding, and Wang of Elite Globus Prime Holdings Corp., were charged for unauthorized use of a registered trademark.
During simultaneous raids, police found:
- P29.69 million worth of counterfeit shoes in one warehouse
- P27.7 million in another
- P18 million in the third
Authorities also confiscated business receipts, computers, a CCTV DVR, and a web mill printer.
Police Major General Nicolas Torre III assured the public of CIDG’s commitment to enforcing the law, urging citizens to report counterfeit goods and trade violations.
