A four-year-old boy, Chris Mark Sandoval, lost his life after a metal railing collapsed on him at the Pasil Fishport in Cebu City. CCTV footage revealed that while Chris Mark was leaning on the railing, another child climbed over it, causing it to topple onto him.
Bystanders quickly rushed to his aid, and he was taken to a nearby hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to a second hospital, where he unfortunately passed away.
The boy’s family has appealed for support following the tragic incident. Local authorities and police have launched separate investigations into the accident.
