Five more individuals have come forward, accusing Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), of rape, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP). These alleged victims, some as young as 12, claimed that Quiboloy sexually assaulted them under the guise of granting them “passes to heaven.”

During a press briefing, PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo described the victims’ accounts as “horrible,” but withheld details due to their sensitive nature. The victims reportedly said they were assigned specific days of the week to have intercourse with Quiboloy and were threatened with “angels of death” if they disclosed the abuse.

Authorities are continuing to investigate whether the “angels of death” refer to actual enforcers or merely threats used to control the victims. Davao City Police Chief Colonel Hansel Marantan also revealed that these young girls previously distrusted law enforcement, believing that even the police and military were afraid of Quiboloy.

Quiboloy’s lawyer, Atty. Mark Tolentino, remains optimistic that the case will be dismissed, citing the need for prima facie evidence.

Quiboloy and his co-accused are scheduled for arraignment in Pasig and Quezon City courts, with cases involving human trafficking and child abuse.
