QUEZON PROVINCE — Ahtisa Manalo just surprised fans with a secret skill: rapping! In her official introduction video for Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the Quezon Province beauty queen confidently showed off her flow by rapping and dancing to Salbakuta’s hit “Stupid Love.”
The 42-second clip, released by Empire Philippines on YouTube, features Ahtisa revealing that rapping is a hidden talent known only to her closest friends—until now. “Only my close friends know that I can sing the entire lyrics of Salbakuta’s ‘Stupid Love’ by heart,” she said before launching into the performance with charisma and rhythm.
Ahtisa is one of the 67 candidates vying for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown. This marks her second attempt representing Quezon Province. In 2024, she earned the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines and placed in the Top 10 at the Miss Cosmo international pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2025 coronation night is set for May 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena, where reigning queen Chelsea Manalo—also Miss Universe Asia—will crown her successor. The winner will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand on November 21.
