Comedy Queen AiAi delas Alas shared that she has not been on speaking terms with ex-husband Gerald Sibayan since their separation in October.
In a candid interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Monday, AiAi confirmed her decision to avoid direct communication with Gerald.
“Of course, no,” she replied when asked if they were still in contact.
A Decision to Distance
AiAi revealed that the separation conversation was the turning point for her.
“I refused to [communicate directly]. From the time na sinabi niya ‘yun sa akin, hindi na ako nakipag-communicate sa kanya,” AiAi explained. She clarified that she communicates with Gerald indirectly, relying on intermediaries such as her son-in-law and other mutual acquaintances.
End of a Decade-Long Relationship
In November, AiAi confirmed the end of her 10-year relationship with Gerald, whom she married in 2017. The couple renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2022, making their split a surprise to many fans.
