Former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has denied any connection to Lin Xunhan, alleged leader of illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) activities, according to her lawyer, Atty. Stephen David. In an interview, David stated that Guo has no ties to Lin, who was recently arrested in Laguna, and that the only person she dealt with in connection to POGOs was Huang Zhiyang, who had purchased property from her.

Guo is facing multiple charges, including qualified human trafficking and graft, along with allegations of tax evasion, money laundering, and falsification. Despite a witness reportedly seeing her interacting with Lin, known by aliases such as “Boss Boga” and “Boss Apao,” Guo has dismissed these claims as false. Her legal team expressed a desire to cross-examine the witness who made the allegations.

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) is investigating whether Guo withheld Lin’s identity during congressional hearings due to his presence in the country. The cases against Guo continue to unfold, with various complaints filed in multiple courts.
