The Kapuso star recently unveiled a bold new look on Instagram, featuring a short haircut and a sleek monochrome outfit, exuding confidence and strength. In her caption, she hinted at a bright future, stating, “I haven’t met the new me yet, but I think she’ll be alright.”
Alonzo’s transformation received a wave of support from fellow celebrities. Heart Evangelista, Carla Abellana, Catriona Gray, Sarah Lahbati, Anne Curtis, and Kyline Alcantara were among those who praised her new style. Curtis commented, “BEAutiful! ❤️,” while Abellana expressed, “[I] love it!!!”
The actress had previously made headlines in February when Boy Abunda confirmed her breakup with Roque. More recently, Alonzo faced challenges in her career, with controversies surrounding her involvement in the film “1521.” Producer Francis B. Lara Ho publicly apologized, taking responsibility for any misunderstandings and expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to Alonzo. Despite the issues, he emphasized that any absence on her part was understandable and not her fault.
Alonzo did not attend the advanced premiere of “1521” on May 30. Lara Ho acknowledged the efforts to invite her and reiterated his understanding of her decision.
