Bianca De Vera recently got candid with fellow celebrity River Joseph about her feelings for former co-star Will Ashley. In the latest episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Bianca shared that while she still cares deeply for Will, she doesn’t see their relationship returning to what it once was.
“I don’t think we can go back to how things used to be,” Bianca said. “Whatever we had before—it’s really not there anymore, at least on my end, if we’re talking about feelings.”
She also cleared up any lingering assumptions about their past, emphasizing, “We were never actually together, even back then.”
Although Will expressed interest in rekindling a friendship, Bianca believes any kind of healing or reconnection needs to happen naturally. “We need to start from scratch, like really from the beginning. It can’t be forced,” she said.
Despite the emotional distance, Bianca acknowledged Will’s personal growth, saying he’s still someone she connects with on a deep level. “He’s changed a lot. I just hope he’s no longer afraid. No matter how long it takes, I’ll always care for him and I’m genuinely proud of him.”
She continued, “We know each other so well—our dreams, our fears. He still knows me by heart, and I know him by heart too. I just don’t know where we stand in each other’s lives now.”
River, observing the emotional dynamic, noted that their time apart might have given Will the clarity to open up again.
The two actors starred together in the 2023 series Unbreak My Heart as love interests Jerry and Gwen, which sparked a wave of speculation about their off-screen relationship.
Currently, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition airs on GMA Network every weekday at 10 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m.
