Bianca Umali opened up about the alleged billing issue surrounding her upcoming movie “Mananambal”, which also stars Nora Aunor.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, Bianca admitted she was caught off guard when the topic was raised during the film’s press conference.
“I was shocked. It became an emotional moment for me at some point. But then, in my heart and in my mind, I knew that the best way to handle it was to be the most professional person in the room,” she shared.
Despite the issue, Bianca emphasized that simply working with Nora Aunor, a National Artist and Superstar, was already an honor for her.
“Everything else that comes from it, the billing, even the award that I won, is already a bonus,” she added.
In 2024, Bianca won Best Dramatic Actress at the Jinseo International Film Festival in Japan for her role in Mananambal. The horror film, directed by Adolfo Alix Jr., is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on February 19.
