In a candid revelation on Luis Manzano’s YouTube series “Luis Listens,” Kapuso actress Bianca Umali shared a light-hearted yet poignant look back at a time when she felt deceived by a man she considered her boyfriend. The conversation brought back memories of an instance Bianca had previously shared with Luis during their time on “It’s Your Lucky Day,” discussing a situation where she was “ghosted” by a man she was seeing.

Ghosting, the act of suddenly disappearing without any communication, left Bianca questioning the reality of their relationship. She humorously admitted, “I was the only one who knew we had something going on.” Bianca believed the man to be her boyfriend, not just a mere crush, indicating the depth of her feelings.

Despite never hearing “I love you” from him, Bianca assumed a mutual understanding based on their interactions. “He never said I love you, but for me back then, having no experience in how it feels to be liked or loved by someone, I thought his replies meant something significant,” she shared with a laugh.

The realization that their relationship was not as she perceived came not through a direct confrontation but through his silence. Bianca accepted the end of their non-relationship on her own, as he stopped replying to her messages, saying, “Actually, he didn’t even have to end it. I just accepted it because he stopped replying. So, I thought, ‘Okay, that’s fine.'”

Reflecting on the experience, Bianca humorously acknowledged the intense heartbreak she felt at the time. However, she now finds happiness and stability in her relationship with actor Ruru Madrid. The couple is looking forward to celebrating their sixth anniversary in July, showcasing Bianca’s journey from heartbreak to a loving and committed relationship.
