BINI member Aiah Arceta has spoken up about the negativity directed at people in her life, amid dating rumors linking her to PBA player Caelan Tiongson.
Aiah, who was seen attending Rain or Shine’s recent games, sparked speculation among fans. Meanwhile, Tiongson, in an interview with One Sports, confirmed that they met through a mutual friend, describing her as “a great person” but choosing not to elaborate on her personal life.
Aiah Appeals for Kindness
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on March 6, Aiah acknowledged the online buzz surrounding her, calling it “interesting” how quickly rumors spread.
“It’s interesting to see how it has become such a big deal for some, along with the multiple theories circulating about it,” she wrote. “It’s also fascinating to observe how quickly noise can grow and how many people can misunderstand so many things.”
She also lamented how people around her—friends, colleagues, even relatives—often become the target of speculation.
“It pains me to see that the people who make me feel safe, calm, and normal, and those who contribute to my happiness are being ridiculed and made fun of online,” she expressed.
Aiah emphasized that her friends have been a great source of support, especially recently, and urged for kindness.
“There are so many sides and truths that people don’t see. I just hope we can all be kind to one another because kindness is free, and we all need it.”
A Lighthearted Response
In a humorous twist, Aiah included a photo of her pet dog, Honey, playfully suggesting:
“Sabi daw ni Honey baka siya naman na mabalita this time kasi mahilig din naman siyang manood ng mga aso na naglalaro.” (Honey says maybe she’ll be the next one in the headlines since she also enjoys watching dogs play.)
Meanwhile, on her Instagram Stories, Aiah shared a glimpse of a casual card game night with friends, including Tiongson, praising them for ensuring a safe and respectful environment for her and fellow BINI member Sab.
