Jennie of Blackpink is set to take legal action against the spread of false information impersonating her father, according to a report by Soompi.
Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment, issued a statement on Friday addressing the “continuous fake news and illegal publications” targeting her family. The agency emphasized that the claims are “entirely false” and have no connection to Jennie.
OA Entertainment confirmed that criminal charges for defamation and obstruction of business will be filed against those responsible.
In addition, the agency vowed to take legal action against defamatory acts, sexual harassment, and slander directed at Jennie. They assured fans that they will pursue strong legal measures to protect the artist’s rights and interests.
