Lisa of Blackpink is set to make a musical comeback with a new single titled “Rockstar,” scheduled for release on June 28.
Lisa’s management label, LLOUD, shared a black and gray teaser on X (formerly Twitter) featuring the title of her latest single. The post announced the release dates as “ROCKSTAR. 06.27 EST / 06.28 KST.”
Prior to ts announcement, Lisa hinted at her upcoming song on TikTok, striking a rockstar pose as the lines “Baby, I’m a rockstar” played in the background. Earlier this month, she also teased her fans on Instagram Stories with a poster that read, “Coming Soon: Lisa” along with pre-save links for the release.
This new single marks Lisa’s first release since launching her own label, LLOUD, in February, which focuses on her solo activities while YG Entertainment continues to manage Blackpink’s group affairs.
Lisa debuted as a solo artist in 2021 with the record-breaking singles “LALISA” and “Money.” In 2023, she was featured in “Shoong” by BIGBANG’s Taeyang.
