A significant fire engulfed a warehouse in Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City, on Wednesday. The incident, reported by Jamie Santos on “Saksi,” began on the second floor of the structure around 5 p.m. and escalated to a second alarm. Firefighters, challenged by the concrete construction of the building, had to create an opening in the wall to effectively combat the flames. The warehouse, housing dental and clothing supplies, fortunately saw no casualties from this event.
The inferno persisted for nearly 13 hours, finally being extinguished on Thursday, around 5:18 a.m. Despite the lengthy battle against the fire, no injuries were reported. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has not yet determined the cause of the fire or estimated the damage. The incident remains under investigation by the authorities.
