Justin Brownlee and Stephen Holt delivered a stellar performance from beyond the arc, guiding Barangay Ginebra to a 106-92 victory over TNT Tropang Giga in Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup Finals. The win at the Smart Araneta Coliseum evened the series at 2-2, setting the stage for a best-of-three showdown.

“This is the finals. Everybody wants to win so bad,” Ginebra head coach Tim Cone said, emphasizing the team’s balanced focus on defense, rebounding, and hustle. “In terms of offense, we just kept making big shots when we needed to,” he added.

Brownlee, who notched 18 points by halftime, kept the momentum going in the third quarter with back-to-back triples and a four-point play, extending Ginebra’s lead to 85-73. Despite efforts by TNT’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Calvin Oftana, and Rey Nambatac to narrow the gap, Ginebra’s offense proved too strong. Holt and Maverick Ahanmisi capped off the game with critical shots, with Ahanmisi’s clutch four-point play pushing Ginebra’s lead to 101-90 with just over two minutes left.

Brownlee led all scorers with 34 points, along with six rebounds, four assists, and a steal, while Ahanmisi, Holt, and Japeth Aguilar each contributed 18 points. Hollis-Jefferson paced TNT with 28 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, while Oftana added 26 points, the majority in the first half before being limited to six in the second.

With the series now tied, both teams will compete for the upper hand in Game 5 on Wednesday.
