The Cebu City government has assured the Supreme Court of the Philippines of its full support for the first Regionalized Bar Examinations in Cebu slated this November 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2021.
Supreme Court officials has recently meet with Cebu City administrator Atty. Floro Casas, Jr., to ensure support like resources needed for the Bar Examinations wherein 1,800 Bar examinees are expected to take at the three universities here.
These three universities as venues for the bar examinations are University of Cebu School of Law, University of San Carlos School of Law and Governance and University of San Jose Recoletos-Basak Campus.
It was the Philippine Association of Law Schools who has been pushing for the regionalization of Bar examinations, which was normally held in Manila for the longest time.
It can be recalled that there was no Bar Examinations held last year due to the increasing number of COVID-19 in the country and the imposition of a strict community quarantine status.
