Celine Pialago, spokesperson for the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB), announced her resignation effective August 31.

In her resignation letter, Pialago cited her intention to pursue “new challenges” in her career, having been appointed to the agency in November 2023.

“This decision has not been an easy one, as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the agency and appreciate the opportunities for growth and development that have been afforded to me,” she wrote to LTFRB chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III.

Pialago expressed her gratitude to Guadiz, her colleagues, and the entire agency for their support and collaboration during her tenure.

Before her role at LTFRB, Pialago served as the spokesperson for the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority until 2021 and ran for a congressional seat in the 2022 elections.
