Social media personality Chloe San Jose has stirred controversy with her comment on Ai-Ai delas Alas’ recent separation from her husband Gerald Sibayan. San Jose remarked, “Back to you,” referencing delas Alas’ past advice regarding San Jose’s public feud with her boyfriend Carlos Yulo’s mother, Angelica Yulo.

San Jose’s Reaction

In September, Ai-Ai delas Alas supported Angelica Yulo during the feud, advising San Jose to respect Carlos’ mother. At the time, delas Alas commented:

“Kung wala ‘yung nanay niya, wala kang darling ngayon. Kaya girl, huwag mo siyang aawayin. At tsaka hindi ka pa asawa, girl. Girlfriend ka pa lang.”

Following news of delas Alas’ separation, San Jose posted on Facebook, “Back to you, mamang. Not to make fun of your situation, but what you do to others will come right back at you 10x. It’s just the universe’s law.”

Although the post was set to private, screenshots circulated online, sparking discussions.

Clarifying Intent

San Jose confirmed making the post but defended her actions, explaining it was not intended to be public or offensive.

“Why didn’t I make the post public? Because I do not involve myself in other people’s private lives publicly… My caption was neither derogatory nor offensive in any way. So, why the outrage?”

She added that meaningful discussions should happen offline, stating, “The true courage and meaningful discussions take place offline, not on the internet.”

Response from Ai-Ai’s Daughter

A private Facebook account, believed to belong to delas Alas’ daughter Sophia, called out San Jose to make the post public, challenging her to meet in Manila.

“Matapang ka? Public mo naman post mo regarding my mom. Kita tayo sa Manila? Matapang ka eh.”

San Jose responded, “Messaged you, love,” accompanied by a smiling face with hearts emoji.

Delas Alas’ Silence

As of this writing, Ai-Ai delas Alas has not commented on San Jose’s remarks.

San Jose’s post has added fuel to the ongoing drama, leaving netizens divided over her actions and the broader implications of public feuds on social media.
