The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced that voter registration will resume nationwide on October 20, 2025, to accommodate the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (BSKE) elections.
Registration will run until May 18, 2026, and will include new registrations, reactivations, transfers, corrections, and changes to registration records. One notable exception is the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), which will follow a separate schedule due to its upcoming parliamentary elections.
Comelec Chair George Erwin Garcia said the agency expects to register around 1.4 million new voters during this period. Registration offices and satellite sites will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including holidays.
