A graduate from Nueva Vizcaya has once again proven her excellence in the medical field by topping the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination — marking her second time ranking No. 1 in a national board exam.
Dr. Jera Mae Domingo, who first gained recognition as the topnotcher in the March 2020 Medical Technologist Licensure Exam, led the roster of new doctors after achieving the highest rating in the latest physician board exam, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Domingo, a proud alumna of Saint Mary’s University (SMU) in Bayombong, was among the 4,360 examinees who passed the test out of 6,130 takers. Her remarkable achievement has earned praise from her alma mater and inspired many aspiring health professionals.
SMU celebrated her success on social media, describing Domingo as a “true Marian achiever whose dedication and brilliance continue to inspire.”
The PRC conducted the exam in testing centers across key cities, including Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Tuguegarao.
Domingo’s back-to-back top rankings highlight her unwavering commitment to medicine and her desire to serve others — a story that continues to inspire future generations of Filipino doctors.
