Derek Ramsay has addressed rumors suggesting he has a mistress, expressing frustration at being continuously linked to third-party issues despite stepping back from showbiz. In a recent interview with Morly Alinio, Ramsay said, “Wala na nga ako, ang dami pa ring intriga… Tahimik lang ako.”
Now married to Ellen Adarna, Ramsay finds the ongoing controversies surrounding his marriage irritating. He voiced disbelief at why he’s often dragged into these issues, saying, “May asawa na nga ako. Ang dami rin naman dyang mga couples. Ako na naman lagi.”
During the same interview, Ramsay also weighed in on the recent revelations by actors Sandro Muhlach and Gerald Santos about their experiences with sexual harassment. Ramsay stressed the importance of boundaries and stated he would physically defend himself if disrespected. He expressed sympathy for victims of harassment, advising them to find the courage to speak out against their abusers.
