Dingdong Dantes and Rocco Nacino proudly donned their military uniforms as they participated in a flag ceremony to commemorate National Reservists and Maritime Month.
According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras” aired on Monday, the event was organized in collaboration with GMA Pinoy TV and attended by GMA International First Vice President Joseph Francia.
Both Dantes and Nacino are committed military reservists. Dingdong Dantes, known as the Kapuso Primetime King, recently achieved a significant milestone by joining the ranks of the Philippine Navy Seabees. Earlier this year, he graduated from the Naval Combat Engineer Officer Basic Course Class. In January, he also participated in the Philippine Navy’s New Year’s Call 2024 and has shared images from his field training exercises on social media.
Rocco Nacino, a former petty officer in the Philippine Navy Reserve Corps, was promoted last year to 2nd lieutenant in the Nurse Corps, Civil Military Affairs Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command.
Aside from their military service, Dingdong Dantes currently hosts the Kapuso shows “Family Feud” and “Amazing Earth.” Rocco Nacino is set to return as Aquil in the upcoming “Encantadia” spinoff, “Sang’gre.
