Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay embraced their Dragon Family identity as they welcomed the Year of the Wood Snake with a heartfelt social media post.
On Instagram, Ellen shared a throwback family photo from the birth of their daughter, who was born in 2024—the Year of the Wood Dragon. She also revealed an interesting zodiac trivia:
“I was born in the Year of the Earth Dragon, Derek in the Year of the Fire Dragon, and now our daughter is a Wood Dragon,” she wrote, adding that their dragon family is now “signing off” to welcome the new zodiac year.
Derek chimed in with a playful comment: “House of Dragons.”
Ellen gave birth to their first child together in October 2024, marking a joyful milestone after she quit smoking in 2023 to prepare for pregnancy. The couple previously faced challenges, including a miscarriage.
Married since November 2021, Ellen and Derek each have children from previous relationships—Elias, Ellen’s son with John Lloyd Cruz, and Austin, Derek’s son with ex-wife Mary Christine Jolly.
