MANILA, Philippines – Elvis Gutierrez paid a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez, who passed away last Saturday at the age of 38 after battling leukemia. Elvis remembered happier days with Alexa in a poignant Instagram post, sharing a photo of her at 19, beaming with joy as she learned to drive.
“You were 19; I was 22. This was the first day you learned how to drive. I wanted to capture how happy you were. You called me the best driving teacher. I miss you so much,” he wrote.
Alexa’s wake is being held at the Santuario De San Antonio, Forbes Park, McKinley Road in Makati City from July 29 to 31, with inurnment scheduled for August 1.

In January, Ruffa had appealed for prayers for Alexa, describing her as a “brave and beautiful soul” and a “devoted wife” to her brother.
