ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo and former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III have emerged as the top contenders in the latest senatorial preference survey conducted by Pulse Asia.

The survey, carried out from November 26 to December 3, 2024, indicates that 14 candidates have a statistical chance of securing one of the 12 Senate seats available in the May 2025 elections.

Erwin Tulfo leads with a voter preference rating of 62.2%, followed closely by Sotto at 59.2%.

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go and broadcaster Ben Tulfo are in close competition for the third and fourth spots, with preference ratings of 54.7% and 52.7%, respectively.

Senator Pia Cayetano (46.5%) and former Senator Manny Pacquiao (45%) are positioned between fifth and ninth places.

Other notable candidates include former Senator Panfilo Lacson (44.1%), television host Willie Revillame (43.6%), and Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (43.5%), who are vying for positions between fifth and tenth place.

Makati City Mayor Abby Binay holds a voter preference rating of 40.1%, placing her between seventh and 14th.

Senators Lito Lapid (39.2%) and Imee Marcos (37.5%) are ranked between 10th and 14th positions.

In the 10th to 15th range are Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (36.9%) and Las Piñas City Representative Camille Villar (36.5%).

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 2,400 adult respondents and is Pulse Asia’s first non-commissioned survey following the filing of certificates of candidacy in October.
