ACT-CIS Party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo topped the latest senatorial survey conducted by Oculum Research and Analytics for the upcoming May 2025 midterm elections. Former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III and broadcaster Ben Tulfo rounded out the top three.

Survey Results

The survey, conducted from December 16 to 22, 2024, revealed the following results:

  1. Erwin Tulfo: 70.8% voting preference
  2. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III: 52.3%
  3. Ben Tulfo: 50.1%
  4. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.: 49.2%
  5. Pia Cayetano: 46.9%
  6. Manny Pacquiao: 46.3%
  7. Bong Go: 44.4%
  8. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa: 43.8%
  9. Abby Binay: 40.3%
  10. Ping Lacson: 39.2%
  11. Camille Villar: 37.5%
  12. Willie Revillame: 36.2%
  13. Imee Marcos: 33.3%
  14. Lito Lapid: 31.1%

Lower-ranking candidates included former senators Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan II (28.1%), Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan (23.3%), and health advocate Dr. Willie Ong (22.5%).

Key Insights

Erwin Tulfo emerged as the top senatorial bet, securing support from over 70% of respondents nationwide. Sotto and Ben Tulfo followed closely, cementing their positions as major contenders.

Meanwhile, the survey revealed strong competition for the middle and lower rankings, with notable names like Manny Pacquiao, Bong Go, and Abby Binay holding significant voter preferences.

The survey, which used face-to-face interviews with 1,200 declared voters, has a ±3% margin of error and a 95% confidence level.

As the election draws closer, the list of senatorial candidates continues to reflect a mix of experienced politicians, prominent figures, and new contenders vying for public favor.
