Separate fires broke out in residential areas of Caloocan City and the Parola Compound in Manila on Friday morning.

In Caloocan City, a fire started at Josefina Street, 3rd Avenue, Barangay 120, shortly after 9 a.m. The Caloocan City Fire Station raised the first alarm at 9:39 a.m., second alarm at 9:50 a.m., and it reached the third alarm by 10:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, a fire also struck houses at Gate 17, Barangay 20, Parola Compound. The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region reported that the fire was declared under control by 10:20 a.m.
