Yohance Levi Buie, known for his participation in The Voice Kids Season 3, has sadly passed away at the young age of 17.
Yohance was a memorable contestant in 2016, where he was part of Team Sharon in the popular singing competition. His talent management, Virtual Playground, announced his passing on November 11.
Yohance’s talents were not limited to The Voice Kids on ABS-CBN; he also showcased his acting skills in several projects. He made a significant impact with his role in Reality MM Studios’ “Day Zero” on Amazon Prime, demonstrating his versatility as an actor. Additionally, he captivated audiences in Regal’s YouTube series “The Day I Loved You,” where his passion and commitment to his craft were clearly visible. According to a post by Virtual Playground, Yohance’s remains can be visited at St. Peter Antipolo.
The Voice Kids has been a launching pad for many of today’s renowned singers, including JK Labajo, Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, Lyca Gairanod, and Kyle Echarri.
The show began in 2014 with coaches Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sarah Geronimo. In its third season, Sharon Cuneta joined as a coach. By the fifth season, Martin Nievera and KZ Tandingan replaced Sarah G and Lea Salonga. In March of this year, the latest The Voice Kids winner was Shane Bernabe from Team Bamboo.
