This announcement was made by Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast, during the Saturday episode of “It’s Showtime.” Team JKI, as they are popularly known, delivered a performance on Friday that was both emotionally stirring and death-defying, quickly becoming a sensation on social media.
Meanwhile, the team of Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang secured the second position, followed by the team of Vhong Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz in third. The winning teams were awarded cash prizes of Php 300,000, Php 200,000, and Php 100,000, respectively. Additionally, the runner-up teams — comprising Vice Ganda, Jackie Gonzaga, and Cianne Dominguez; and Karylle, Amy Perez, Lassy, and MC — each received Php 50,000. These prizes are earmarked for donation to the charities of their choice.
Kim Chiu, a prominent Filipina-Chinese actress and TV host, gained fame after winning Pinoy Big Brother. Born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to William Chiu, a Chinese businessman, and Louella Yap, Chiu is affectionately known as the “Chinita Princess” and has been celebrated as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She is currently in a relationship with actor Xian Lim, who has joined the Kapuso network.
