As rising stars Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin gear up for their upcoming film “My Future You,” they have made it clear that they aspire to carve out their unique identity in the entertainment world, distinct from the celebrated duo, KathNiel. At a recent story conference, the actors addressed comparisons to the famed Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, emphasizing their desire to be recognized for their individual talents rather than as a replica of another successful partnership.

Fedelin expressed his admiration for what KathNiel achieved but reaffirmed that they do not intend to emulate that path. “We idolize their accomplishments and aim to reach similar heights, but in our own unique way,” he stated. Diaz echoed this sentiment, stressing the importance of pursuing their successes independently of the precedents set by others.

The label “the next KathNiel” seems to bring more pressure than inspiration, according to the duo. They are keen on establishing themselves as ‘FranSeth’, focusing on their personal journey in the industry, marked by their individual strengths and distinctive flair.

Moreover, Diaz and Fedelin noted their personal connections with Bernardo and Padilla, referring to them as friends and mentors rather than mere predecessors. “We hold great respect and love for KathNiel; they are our friends, and we learn a lot from them. But, it’s important for us to forge our path and make our mark distinctively,” Diaz remarked.

This stance comes after their successful collaborations in television series like “Dirty Linen,” “Fractured,” “Kadenang Ginto,” and “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” where they demonstrated their chemistry and acting prowess. As they step into the cinematic arena with “My Future You,” FranSeth is set to captivate audiences anew, proving that their talents can stand alone, unshadowed by those who came before them.
