More than 1.8 million government workers will receive their year-end bonus and cash gift in early November as part of the government’s efforts to show appreciation for their service.

Under the rules set by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), eligible employees will receive a bonus equivalent to one full month’s basic pay as of October 31, plus a ₱5,000 cash gift.

To qualify, personnel must have rendered at least four months of service between January 1 and October 31 of the current year and must still be in government service as of October 31.

The cash gift and bonus are scheduled to be released with the first agency payroll in November, an adjustment designed to ensure timely delivery and avoid the delays that affected prior years.
