Singer and actor Ice Seguerra took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news of his mother, Mommy Caring’s passing on Friday morning at 7:54 AM.
In a deeply emotional tribute, Ice described his mother as “the most amazing woman I’ve ever known,” recalling her enduring presence and unconditional love throughout his life and career. “She was my first teacher, my constant cheerleader, my rock,” he wrote.
Ice remembered how his mother was always there for him—from childhood to adulthood, from every performance to every milestone. She never missed a moment. “She would send me my favorite food, give me massages when I had headaches—she always made sure to be there even as we lived our own lives,” he added.
More than just a supportive parent, Ice said his mother embraced him fully for who he was. “She was my fiercest protector. She accepted me and embraced me for who I am, especially who I am not,” he shared.
Losing her, Ice said, “feels like losing a part of myself.” But he also promised to carry her strength forward, saying, “I won’t fail you. That’s my promise.”
Caring is survived by Ice and his brother, Juan Carlos Miguel. While the cause of death was not disclosed, Ice said wake details will be shared soon and asked for prayers for their family.
“Thank you to everyone who was part of her life and loved her as their own mother. You made her truly happy,” Ice wrote. “We’ll miss you forever, Mama. But you’re with Daddy now—and that gives me peace.”
