American content creator iShowSpeed was ecstatic during his visit to the Philippines when he met his “favorite boxer of all time,” Manny Pacquiao. The meeting, part of a three-hour YouTube livestream, took place at Pacquiao’s home, where Speed proudly wore a jersey featuring the boxing legend’s face.
During their encounter, Speed excitedly told Pacquiao that he had tried Filipino delicacies like balut and durian. The two shared light moments, with Speed humorously denying eating cat meat in siopao, a joke made by Pacquiao’s brother.
Speed and Pacquiao then participated in a boxing challenge. Although Speed put up a fight, he was knocked down by Pacquiao’s third jab. The boxer encouraged him with warm-up punches, and Speed asked Pacquiao to go harder on him, only to be floored by a single body shot. After the fun match, they shared a hug.
The duo also played chess, with Pacquiao winning by checkmate. They later sang karaoke to Pacquiao’s song “Para Sa’yo Ang Laban Na’to,” much to Pacquiao’s amusement.
Speed, impressed by Pacquiao’s mansion with its tunnel, pool, and luxury vehicles, also received a pair of signed red boxing gloves as a gift. The livestream of their time together attracted a massive 29.5 million viewers.
