MANILA, Philippines – Actress and content creator Ivana Alawi didn’t hold back when asked on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda if she had ever been a “sugar mommy.”

“Opo, proud sugar mama. Baklang-bakla ‘to,” Ivana said with a laugh. “Mapagbigay talaga ako, Tito Boy. Mapagregalo ako.”

She shared stories about two men from her past—one a non-showbiz guy and the other, an actor—who didn’t end up in serious relationships with her but did benefit from her generosity.

For the non-showbiz guy, she often paid for his meals, fuel, and even gave him a little allowance. “Akala ko kasi mawawalan siya ng kuryente,” she quipped.

With the actor, Ivana went all out—footing hotel bills, fancy dinners, wine, and designer gifts. “He even asked for a watch,” she revealed, “pero ‘yun lang ang hindi ko binigay.”

One memory stood out: sharing her hotdog sandwich. “Gutóm ako, kaya ko naman ubusin ‘yun, tapos hinati niya pa kasi kulang daw siya sa budget. Ako pa nagbayad!”

When asked when she finally drew the line, Ivana reflected: “Na-realize ko, maganda naman ako. Hindi ako chaka. Bagets pa ako, bakit mo ‘ko pineperahan?”

She ended with a wise reminder: “In a relationship, love should come first—not money. Hindi mo dapat maperahan ang kahit sino, matanda man o bagets.”

Ivana recently made waves as a guest housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, where fans paired her up with Dustin Yu.
