Ivana Alawi, known for her role in the popular show “Batang Quiapo,” shared her astonishing earnings at the TikTok Shop Summit Pilipinas 2024, held in Taguig City on May 9. “Isang nakaka-inspire na nagulat ako, nag-live ako sa TikTok, tapos siguro two or three hours kumita siya ng eight digits,” she recounted. (One inspiring thing that surprised me, I was doing live on TikTok, then after about two or three hours it earned eight digits.)
Initially launching her business via a website, Alawi shifted her focus to TikTok after observing the platform’s tremendous reach and interactive nature. “Andami naman talagang viewers, andaming buyers, andaming tao doon. And also, the thing that I really like is that I get to interact with the viewers. Nagtatanong sila, tapos sasagutin ko real-time.
