Iya Villania gave her followers a lighthearted look at husband Drew Arellano shortly after his vasectomy procedure.
Sharing the moment on her Instagram Stories, Iya posted a clip of Drew resting and “still groggy” after the operation.
“Congratulations, bub,” Iya said playfully while filming him.
Drew, clearly in good spirits despite the procedure, sang a fun twist to the “Happy Birthday” song, cheekily calling it “Happy Va-sec-to-me.”
Married since 2014, Iya and Drew are proud parents to five children: Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.
Drew had previously discussed his decision to undergo a vasectomy in 2023, a permanent form of male contraception designed to prevent sperm from leaving the body.
The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) in the Philippines advocates for non-scalpel vasectomy, highlighting its 99.8% effectiveness and one-time nature.
