MANILA – Stars Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, and Sam Milby are all smiles as they gear up for their much-anticipated romantic-comedy film, Everything About My Wife, set to hit cinemas on February 26.
A Special Project for Jennylyn and Dennis
For real-life couple Jennylyn and Dennis, the film marks their first movie together as husband and wife. Trillo shared his excitement about working with Mercado again after their last collaboration in 2020’s I Can See You: Truly, Madly, Deadly.
“I agreed to this project right away because it’s my first time working with my wife again after a very long time. I’m excited for everyone to see the scenes we filmed together,” Trillo shared.
Mercado, on the other hand, expressed gratitude that both Milby and Trillo accepted the project.
“I’m thankful to Sam and Dennis for saying yes to this film. Also, thank you to CreaZion and GMA Pictures for making this beautiful movie happen,” she said.
Sam Milby’s Exciting Collaboration
For Sam Milby, Everything About My Wife is a unique experience—his first time working with Trillo and a long-overdue reunion with Mercado.
“I was excited to work with Jen again, and of course, the script was cute and fun—it’s a rom-com, and my role is very different from what I usually do. Plus, it’s my first time working with Dennis, who is award-winning,” he said.
A Love Triangle with a Twist
The film follows Dom (Dennis Trillo) and Imogen (Jennylyn Mercado), a married couple facing relationship struggles. Things take an unexpected turn when Miguel (Sam Milby) enters the picture, testing Imogen’s loyalty and shaking up their marriage.
Directed by Real Florido and produced by GMA Pictures, CreaZion Studios, and Glimmer Studio, the film also stars Carmi Martin, Alex Agustin, Joyce Glorioso, Polo Laurel, and Nova Villa, with special appearances from Ruby Ruiz, Donna Cariaga, Isay Alvarez, Romnick Sarmenta, and Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.
