Jessy Mendiola continues to show her unwavering support for husband Luis Manzano, despite his loss in the 2025 Batangas vice gubernatorial race.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jessy shared her thoughts on embracing God’s plans over personal disappointments. “One of the greatest gifts is knowing that God’s plans are always more beautiful than your disappointments,” she wrote alongside a peaceful nature video and a faith-inspired quote.
The quote read: “When the weight of uncertainty lies heavily on my shoulders… I remember God is much bigger than all of it; in His presence, I rest.”
Jessy also shared the message on her Instagram Stories, tagging Luis and adding, “Still so proud of you, [Luis], I love you 💚.” Luis reposted her message, replying with “Love you” and three kissy face emojis.
As of May 13, partial and unofficial results show Luis in second place with 552,044 votes. The newly proclaimed vice governor of Batangas is Dodo Mandanas, who garnered 804,225 votes.
Meanwhile, Luis’ mother, veteran actress-politician Vilma Santos-Recto, leads the gubernatorial race with 640,073 votes.
