Veteran comedian and former “Eat Bulaga” host Jimmy Santos delighted fans as he took on a humble yet inspiring challenge—selling street food in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija.
In a vlog posted on May 29 via his YouTube channel Jimmy Saints, Santos shared his experience running a market food stall. He served and cooked snacks while engaging with customers, immersing himself in the realities of street vending.
“This job is tough,” Santos said, acknowledging the effort vendors put in while working under extreme heat or rain. “You need patience, strength, and health to endure this kind of work.”
The vlog ended with Santos introducing the stall owner and expressing admiration for vendors across the country, calling them unsung heroes of the streets.
Now back in the Philippines after visiting his grandchild in Canada, Santos clarified that he did not migrate and is currently living in Pampanga. In 2023, he had gone viral for sharing moments of himself recycling bottles in Canada.
