Actress and culinary enthusiast Judy Ann Santos shared her excitement after participating in a cooking demonstration hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay during his visit to the Philippines.
Fresh from completing her professional culinary course with two gold medals, Santos expressed her joy on Instagram, calling the experience “surreal” and something she never imagined happening in her lifetime.
A Dream Come True
“Sa paanong paraan ko ba pwedeng maikwento ang araw ko today? Nakakaloka? Napaka-surreal!” she wrote. Santos even pinched herself several times to ensure she wasn’t dreaming.
The actress described the event’s challenge—a 10-minute task to build a halo-halo dessert—as nerve-wracking yet unforgettable. “It was the fastest, nerve-wracking 10 minutes of my life! But it was the best!” she said.
She extended gratitude to her husband Ryan Agoncillo and their youngest child, Luna, who attended the event to support her.
Ramsay’s Philippine Visit
Gordon Ramsay’s trip included hosting a cooking demo, visiting his restaurant in Pasay City, collaborating with local chefs, and planning future expansions in the country. Content creators Abi Marquez and Ninong Ry also participated in the cooking session.
Santos concluded her post by thanking everyone involved, saying, “Hindi ko alam what I did to deserve this, but I am so grateful for the experience.”
