This event was shared on WeVerse, where Yunjin expressed her eagerness to try the dessert, which had long been on her bucket list. Halo-halo, a popular Filipino cool treat, has gained attention among various Korean celebrities visiting the Philippines.
Notably, NCT’s Jaehyun, Doyoung, and Jungwoo also tried halo-halo earlier in the year, following their expressed interest in the delicacy. Korean actor Kim Bum also indulged in this dessert during his visit to the Philippines. The popularity of halo-halo extends beyond celebrities, as it has been featured on international platforms, including shows by the late Anthony Bourdain and being listed in TasteAtlas’ Top 50 Best Frozen Desserts.
