Kathryn Bernardo welcomed 2025 with a playful nod to good fortune by participating in the “12 grapes under the table” trend, a tradition believed to bring luck in the coming year.
In a video shared on Instagram by her mother, Min Bernardo, Kathryn was seen eating 12 grapes under a table as the clock struck midnight. According to tradition, consuming the grapes within the first minute of the New Year ensures prosperity throughout the year.
Kathryn embraced the festivities in style, wearing a blue and white polka dot tube top paired with white pants. She also followed another tradition by jumping in place to invite even more luck.
The actress recently starred alongside Alden Richards in “Hello, Love, Again,” the sequel to their 2019 blockbuster hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which holds the record as the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, earning over ₱1.4 billion worldwide.
