Khalil Ramos is making his big-screen return this year, starring alongside veteran actor Romnick Sarmenta in the highly anticipated film Olsen’s Day.
In an Instagram Story, Khalil shared a glimpse of the movie’s title card, revealing it will be directed by JP Habac, the acclaimed filmmaker behind I’m Drunk, I Love You. Meanwhile, Sparkle GMA Artist Center took to Instagram to post photos of Khalil and Romnick during a promotional photoshoot for the film.
Khalil, who recently portrayed Jose Rizal in the 2023 hit Gomburza, continues to make waves in Philippine cinema. Aside from his upcoming movie project, Khalil celebrated the start of 2025 by achieving a personal milestone—acquiring his dream car, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
Romnick Sarmenta, who has also been busy with his acting career, appeared in the youth-oriented Kapuso series Maka, which returns for a second season this January.
Fans are eager to see the collaboration between Khalil and Romnick under JP Habac’s direction, further fueling excitement for Olsen’s Day.
