Former Vice President Leni Robredo led the endorsements for Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino in Bacolod City, rallying supporters to push for their Senate comeback in the 2025 midterm elections.
Robredo emphasized their proven track record in public service, urging voters to triple their campaign efforts compared to the 2022 elections. She also highlighted their alignment with Senator Risa Hontiveros, saying their presence in the Senate would strengthen the push for reforms.
Strong Backing from Local Leaders
The Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson and four party-list groups also threw their support behind the duo, citing Pangilinan’s advocacy for agriculture and Aquino’s role in free college education.
Negros Occidental, with two million registered voters, is one of the most crucial provinces in the upcoming elections.
