Actors Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino have resumed promoting their Star Cinema film, “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” following its rescheduled release date. The duo shared lighthearted moments with Star Cinema staff, signaling positive relations between the cast and the production team.
Behind-the-Scenes Bonding
Chiu shared photos on her Instagram Stories on Monday, January 13, showing herself and Avelino with the Star Cinema team on set.
“Look who welcomed us inside the tent at 5:00 a.m. Star Cinema fam in [the house]! Good morning!” she captioned one photo.
In another post featuring the production crew, Chiu teased:
“See you in cinemas on March 26! ‘Di na kami mag-disappear!”
Avelino reshared Chiu’s posts on his Instagram account, further emphasizing their collaboration.
New Release Date
Star Cinema announced that the romantic comedy film, initially slated for release on February 12, has been moved to March 26. The postponement was attributed to “new developments and exciting opportunities to expand into the North American market.”
Previous Speculations
Rumors of a rift arose when Avelino made a cryptic comment about not completing a film, accompanied by a laughing emoji. The actor also reportedly removed promotional materials for the movie from his Instagram page, sparking fan speculation.
The recent social media posts and interactions with Star Cinema staff appear to put those rumors to rest, as the actors actively participate in the film’s promotions.
