NEW YORK — Amanda Estopare, a finance officer of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), has been found guilty of falsifying immigration documents for church members allegedly sent to the U.S. by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Though Estopare has already served her prison term, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California placed her under two years of supervised release on June 20, as ordered by Judge Terry Hatter.
As part of the conditions, Estopare must allow federal probation officers or law enforcement to search her residence, vehicles, documents, electronic devices, and online accounts without prior notice. Any refusal could result in the revocation of her release.
She is also banned from entering fraudulent marriages to evade immigration laws and is prohibited from participating in businesses related to immigration services or fundraising without her probation officer’s permission. Furthermore, she must provide full access to her business documents and client records.
This ruling makes Estopare the last of the high-ranking KOJC officials linked to the case to be sentenced. Others previously convicted include KOJC travel agent Maria De Leon, administrator Guia Cabactulan, and HR head Marissa Duenas—all of whom cooperated with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in exchange for reduced penalties.
