Kylie Padilla captivated everyone at the GMA Gala on Saturday with her stunning wavy pearl white gown, but it’s the story behind the dress that truly makes it remarkable.

In an Instagram Reel, the Kapuso actress showcased her gown, designed by Ehrran Montoya and inspired by water nymphs and mermaids. Titled “The Birth of Venus,” the gown’s design evolved to symbolize even deeper meanings.

“Water is a symbol for healing, femininity, and sensuality,” Kylie explained, referring to the wavy details of the dress. This vision transformed into “an image we created of a heroine emerging from the depths of her deepest pain and sorrows.”

She elaborated, “From drowning she is reborn a Goddess, owning her power, her strength, her intelligence, and her sensuality.”

This powerful narrative earned Kylie the Best Dressed Stars of the Night award, an honor she shared with David Licauco.

Kylie is set to return as Amihan in the series “Sang’gre” and has already started taping for the show. She also recently joined the cast of “Asawa ng Asawa Ko.” Besides her acting career, Kylie is a devoted mother to her sons, Alas and Axl, and recently confirmed that she is in a new relationship.
