Iloilo City – Former Vice President Leni Robredo reaffirmed her support for Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino’s Senate comeback bids, emphasizing their unity and dedication despite past election losses.

“Others have separated, but we are still together,” Robredo told supporters at the Iloilo Sports Complex, referencing political divisions since the 2022 elections.

Robredo expressed gratitude to the Ilonggo community, acknowledging their continued backing even after her presidential loss.

Joining the rally were former Senate President Franklin Drilon, Senator Risa Hontiveros, and Iloilo Rep. Lorenz Defensor. Drilon endorsed Aquino and Pangilinan, calling them the most qualified candidates for the Senate.

Pangilinan highlighted the political split between President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte, saying it creates new opportunities for their campaign.

Aquino noted that the race for 12 Senate seats allows for a broad coalition, focusing on issues like social services and job creation that cut across party lines.
