Marc Pingris couldn’t be prouder as his son, Mic Pingris, and the Far Eastern University-Diliman Baby Tamaraws clinched the title at the Japan B.League U16 Challenge Cup.
The Baby Tams secured a decisive 79-62 victory over the Sunrockers Shibuya U16 squad in the tournament finals on Sunday.
“CHAMPION! Congrats Batang Tamaraw,” Marc wrote on social media, sharing a photo with his son Mic, celebrating the win.
This victory comes shortly after Mic and the Baby Tamaraws secured third place in the UAAP Season 87 junior high school basketball tournament last December.
